CNC engraving precautions

Precautions for use of hardened plate

The hardness of acrylic plate shall be more than 4H (750g force test), and the surface hardness of PC hardened plate shall be more than Hb.

Pay attention to the crystal point and grain on the surface of the hardened plate, and pay attention to the adhesion test for electroplating and silk screen printing.

Both sides of the hardened plate are covered with sticky protective film, which is not easy to be placed for too long. It should be used as soon as possible.

The printing ink should be hardened special ink, and special attention should be paid to the use of mirror silver ink.

Pay attention to the timely cleaning of debris during plate cutting.

Precautions for raw board use

Choose different grades of plates according to the purpose, and pursue the best cost performance. Optical grade plates pay attention to optical properties, such as transparency, flatness and surface quality.

The requirements for the surface of general-purpose plates are not high, and the defects such as scratches, crystal points and impurities are inevitable.

Engineering grade plates are mainly used for protection, which requires excellent impact resistance, such as highway sound insulation screens, gymnasium sunshine roofs, etc.

Optical grade plates shall be stored at constant temperature and humidity, with the temperature controlled at about 25 ℃ and the humidity controlled at about 50%, so as to avoid sunlight, wind and rain. Acrylic will crack due to coating and solvent corrosion. Avoid storing it with the above substances.

Acrylic is a flammable substance, and the storage environment is smoke-free and fire-free. Optical grade plates shall be protected by pallet packaging, and the pallet shall be flat and solid to ensure that the plate is not deformed. The unpacked board is easy to absorb moisture and deform, so as to avoid exposure. It is necessary to add moisture-proof agent on the side and wrap it with PE film for sealing.
